Recently we have enjoyed daily visits by Rufous Hummingbirds while anchored in the beautiful setting of the Broken Group Islands for a delicious gourmet lunch, prepared by Heartwood Kitchen restaurant in Ucluelet.

It is such a treat to see sea otters on a daily basis. We see single otters as well as mothers with pups, and Grampa Otto is always a highlight. Unfortunately he is often “on vacation” for a few days, but more often than not he is entertaining his beloved human guests!
Sometimes you just need a little time out!
We’ve watched this bear do this twice now. We wanders along the shore line, searching for food. Once he sees this exact same log, he climbs aboard, flops right across it, snoozes for about 45 minutes, then gets up and continues down the shore, once again looking for food.
We are now open for the 2022 Season! We’ve been out on a couple of tours and have thoroughly enjoyed being out on these waters after a long winter off.

2022 Cruise Company of the Year in BC
2020 definitely turned out to be very different for all of us! We have missed cruising through the magical scenery of the Broken Group Islands each day, we have missed the daily wildlife sightings and the close interactions with people from all over the world.
We look forward to running tours again, hopefully starting in May 2021.
CLOSED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE 2020 SEASON
Wondering where we are?
Sadly, we have had to make the difficult decision to remain closed for the rest of the 2020 season. After taking everything into careful consideration, we feel this to be the only feasible option and best for everyone. We are off course disappointed but do look forward to operating again in 2021, well rested and with renewed enthusiasm!
We sincerely hope that you will consider taking a tour with us in 2021.
